I am pleased to announce that the new slate of officers are:

- Martha Mainiero:President
- John Pezzullo: Vice-president
- Babak Raissi: Secretary
- Scott Levine: Treasurer
- Tim Murphy was elected as ACR Councilor, joining Anthony Bruzzese in that position
- Barbara Schepps and Jeff Brody are the Alternate Councilors.
- Julie Armada is the RIRS representative to the Governing Council of the Rhode Island Medical Society.

The membership voted to officially change the name of the society to the "Rhode Island Radiology Society". The previous "Radiological Society" was a little confusing to non-radiologists, particularly non-physicians such as leglislators. It is also more consistent with the ACR name as well.

I wish to thank everyone for all of the help and support in this past year. In particular, Martha Mainiero and John Pezzullo, were invaluable in setting up our Political Action Committee and forming our legislative agenda.
